JONATHAN GIBBS was born in Port of Spain, Trinidad in 1972, and grew up in Essex. He lives in London with his wife and family and works as a journalist, writing on books and other subjects for, over the years, The Independent, The Guardian, The Daily Telegraph, The Financial Times and The TLS. His short fiction has appeared in Lighthouse, The South Circular and Gorse, and his story ‘The story I’m thinking of’ was shortlisted for the inaugural White Review Short Story Prize.
